At SMS Powertrain and Hardware, we believe in supporting American manufacturing. All of the key components for our roadside mowers are made right here in the USA, including:

  • Blades – Made in Kansas
  • Pans, shoes, axle arms, and sickles – Made in Nebraska
  • Cylinders – Made in Ohio
  • Spindles, tires, and skid shoes – Made in Missouri

The gear boxes, clutches, and drivelines in our mowers are imported from Italy, known for high quality engineering and manufacturing.

By sourcing most components domestically, we are proud to support American jobs and keep production local. When you choose our replacement parts, you can trust you are getting high quality components made by skilled workers here at home.

We have stock on many parts. 93% of orders leave our warehouse completed.

We generally have stock of parts ranging from the 20s to thousands of parts all inside of our warehouse.

We are competitive on our prices. We match or beat the prices of dealers.

We are located in Mexico, MO.

Generally through UPS its typically 3 days tops, LTL 4 days.

We never sell used parts.

We have the best rates through UPS and LTL.

Most of our product is made all right here in North America.
